Washing Instructions and tips on caring for your garment: • Hand wash (gently) in cold water with a mild detergent for no more than five minutes. • Preferable to hand wash inside out AND inside a garment bag, as this protects the fabric from any hand washing harshness. • The less agitation the better. • Rinse well. • Light hand wring to drain out excess water (without harshly, crushing the garment). • Do not machine wring/spin. • Do Not Tumble Dry. (Silk is NOT suitable for the clothes dryer !) • Do Not Use Bleaches • Avoid direct sunlight exposure • Dries well on a hanger; under cover, away from sunlight Recommendations and Handy Hints: • Keep out of touch with pets/sharp objects. • Can remove excess water, by rolling the garment in a towel, rather than extreme hand-wringing. • Caution: Heat will deteriorate your garment so dry in the shade. • Can hang up in your bathroom while having a hot shower; using the shower-steam to remove creases from the garment, and refreshing the fabric. • A machine steamer will release creases. • Never iron your silk garment • Static: To prevent static, either lightly steam or spritz your garment with water from a misting bottle. • When travelling, roll up your garment and pop into a lingerie bag to protect it from snagging.
